Overgrown

"Overgrown" is original art that depicts a scene with a futuristic and desolate feeling where humans have "Overgrown" the planet earth, and have left very little trace of nature behind while industrializing and polluting the planet.
Overgrown was one of 31 works I created during 2019's Inktober challenge where, instead, I challenged myself to "Rendertober" each day of that October month.
This piece started as pencil and pen drawing in 2003. Then it became a Blender project to test if I could transfer my conceptual hand-drawings into more fully realized 3D rendered environments.
The final product is a hybrid of pre-production work in Blender and post-processing work in Adobe Photoshop.
