Skull Hexa is a attempt at conveying a "overload" of energy or data to the extent death or a super-power.
This was two Blender projects testing lighting and depth mapping effects using node programming, combined into one.
The hexagon grid was a simple test a creating an up-lit or back-lit perspective image of these varying sized hexagons. The next natural step for me was to experiment with the modeled skull and create a depth map to give it some 3D detail, creating a "cyberized" bio-mechanical
look. This project is partially 3D modeling done by hand, experiments in lighting and emissives, and my imagination.
